New fun technique: Splash background tutorial

While working on another card with the Polka Dot embossing folder, searching for ideas, something really fun came into my mind. What if I mess up a little bit with that folders "holes"...? This is a new fun background technique that I created and will share with you today. I call it the "Splash" technique. Material used on that card: FREE Honeycomb Happiness stamp set. New fun technique: Bokeh background tutorial

   The Bokeh technique is a fun masking technique that gives a nice background effect on a card, creating a transparency.I used this technique on the Burst card yesterday too. Pink butterfly birthday card

We have been invited to a little girl's birthday next Sunday who is turning 2, and I just could not come without a special card for that so cute little girl. At this age, it's all about sparkles and pink right?I made this card using masking tape and 3 different pinks, my favorite pink combination so far. I love the texture of the masking tape on the card.
